A little bit about...
For more than a quarter-century, the Berlin Wall separated East Germany from West Germany. It symbolized the Iron Curtain between Western Europe and the Eastern Bloc. Its construction began on 13 August 1961 and lasted until the Wall was opened on 9 November 1989. During this period, at least 98 people were confirmed killed trying to cross it. The fall of the Berlin Wall paved the way for German reunification, which was formally concluded on 3 October 1990.

■ 1. Day - Arrival at Leipzig. Check in at Hotel and time for leisure. Overnight at Leipzig.
■ 2. Day - Breakfast at hotel. After Breakfast you will get to know the city of Bach. You will see all the important sights of the city. After lunchtime you have the possibility to to visit the House of Schiller or the castle of Gohlis. Overnight at Leipzig.
■ 3. Day -Breakfast at hotel. And another tour through Leipzig where we get to know the important sights regarding the fall of the wall. We will visit the Nikolai church and the spot where the peacefull revolution began. After lunchtime you can visit the Stasi Museum. Overnight at hotel in Leipzig.
■ 4. Day -After breakfast we will go from Leipzig to Berlin with a Stopp at Halle. We will have our lunchbreak at Halle and afterwards we will get to know the city of Halle with its famous panorama view of the five towers. After the citytour we will go to Berlin. Overnight at Berlin.
■ 5. Day -After breakfast we will learn a little bit about the capital of Germany – Berlin. First of all we will get an overview of the city. We will see the historical part along the Avenue Unter den Linden, Parister Platz with the Brandenburg Gate, Potsdamer Platz, Alexanderplatz, Reichstag, Castle Bellvue and so on. The afternoon is at your disposal.
■ 6. Day - Breakfast at hotel. Today you will get to know the second part of the city Berlin. We will visit all the important sights of the former DDR and the Berlin wall. At night you can discover this city by yourself. Overnight at hotel in Berlin.
■ 7. Day - Breakfast at hotel. Today we will get to know Potsdam. Potsdam is a sinonimo of Prussia. For a long time the city as the sommer residence shaped the politics of the prussian kings. Potsdam is so interisting because of ist wonderful castles and gardens. At night you are free for leisure. Overnight at hotel in Berlin.
■ 8. Day -Breakfast at hotel. Today we will visit the Memorial Place of Marienborn in Helmstedt close to Berlin. Here was the famous and the most important border crossing Helmstedt-Marienborn during the division of Germany. In the afternoon transfer to airport and End of services.
